The meaning behind FIFTYSEVEN

There are many shapes of diamonds in the world, but among all these shapes, round brilliant diamond is the shiniest of them all. Due to the mechanics of its shape and the number of facets it has, the round diamond is generally superior to fancy shapes at the proper reflection of light, maximizing potential brightness. It consists of 8 star facets, 8 kite facets, 16 upper gridle facets, 16 lower gridle facets, and 8 pavilion main facets. Older cut diamond will have another facet in the culet, but modern cut diamond have removed this facet as it believes to reduce the shines. The total number of facets in round brilliant diamond is 57, hence the name FIFTYSEVEN.
